Terms of service

Version 2026-09-21. These terms are between you and Wiens Corporation, 2133 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd, Suite 12-389, Suwanee, GA 30024, which we call Wiens below. Stationyx is our product.

These terms are written to be read. Where a promise below is enforced by something in the software, we say what enforces it, so you can check rather than trust.

What the service is

Stationyx is a hosted application for documenting a manufacturing line. You describe your stations, and the product keeps the PFMEA, the process flow, the control plan, the line layout and the work instructions as one connected record, then generates the Excel and PDF documents from it. It also runs the line: operator screens, run history, training records and an approval and release workflow.

Stationyx suggests drafts. It does not approve documents. Approving and releasing a document is something a person in your organization does, and the product records who did it.

Your account, and who may do what

Access is organized around your organization and its lines. A member sees your organization's lines and nothing else. Each person holds one of four levels on a line: viewer, editor, approver or owner, which the product labels Admin. The levels are enforced on the server, not drawn in the interface: changing what your browser shows does not change what the server will give you.

You are responsible for who you add and for the credentials your people use. Anyone at editor or above can invite, and nobody can invite somebody above their own level.

Operators are different and deliberately so. An operator has no account. They are a contact card with a PIN or a badge, and they identify at the station rather than signing in.

Your data is yours

Everything you put into Stationyx stays yours: your stations, your documents, your uploaded files, your people records and your run history. Our licence to it is the narrow one we need to run the service for you, which is to store it, process it, render it into the documents you ask for, and show it to the people you gave access. It ends when your organization does.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it, rent it or hand it to anybody beyond the sub-processors named on our security page, each of which does one job for us and receives only what that job needs. That page is generated from the code rather than typed by hand, and our build fails if the software gains a third party the list does not carry.

We do not use your data to train a model, and neither does the model provider we call. That commitment is under AI suggestions below.

Confidentiality, and who at Wiens can read your data

We treat what you put into Stationyx as confidential. We tell you exactly what that means, because a confidentiality clause that quietly relies on nobody asking is worse than none.

Wiens staff access your data only to operate the service, fix a fault, or when you ask us to. Access through our administrative tools is recorded with the person, the time, the organization and the reason, and we keep that record. Our engineers can also reach the database directly to operate and repair it, which our hosting provider logs but our application does not.

We do not claim that every access is logged, because that is not true today: our nightly backup is a complete copy, and whoever can read that file reads your data without touching the application. The security page sets out the full boundary, including what we would have to build to make the stronger claim.

Getting your data out

An owner in your organization exports the whole thing at any time, without asking us. The archive holds every record as JSON, every file you uploaded, the PFMEA, control plan and process flow workbooks rendered at that moment, and every document version you released, byte for byte the file that was approved.

It never holds PIN material, station machine credentials or your model provider key. A person's record says a PIN is set and never what it is.

There is no exit fee, no export window and no requirement to be in good standing to take your data out.

Ending the subscription, and deletion

You may stop using Stationyx at any time. Deleting the organization is an owner's decision, and it runs in two phases.

• Access ends at once, and nothing is destroyed. Asking marks the organization, and from that moment nobody in it can reach it, through the application or the browser. Asking a second time keeps the first date, so the clock cannot be moved in either direction.
• Thirty days later it is destroyed permanently. A scheduled job erases every record in our database and every file in our storage, the activity trail included.

Inside those thirty days we can put it back at your request. Afterwards nobody can, including us.

Export before you ask. Marking the organization ends access, so the export stops answering too.

What destruction reaches, and what it does not: it reaches our database and our file storage. It does not reach rotated off-site backups, where a nightly dump taken while you were live still holds your organization until it ages out of rotation. It does not reach our sub-processors, who keep their own logs under their own retention terms.

We may suspend or end an account for non-payment, for the acceptable-use breaches below, or if we stop offering the service. If we stop offering it, you get notice and a window to export before anything is destroyed.

Acceptable use

Do not use Stationyx to break the law, to store somebody else's confidential information that you have no right to, or to hold data we have not built for: payment card numbers, government identity numbers, and health records all belong somewhere else.

Do not attempt to reach another organization's data, probe or attack the service, resell access, or use automated traffic that degrades it for other customers. Do not upload malware.

Tell us if you find a security flaw. We would rather hear it from you.

AI suggestions

Nothing you have written reaches a model unless somebody in your workspace runs an AI action. When one does, station and step text, PFMEA and control plan text and the line context you entered are sent. Images, uploaded files, credentials and user accounts are not.

The model runs on Google's Vertex AI. Google does not use prompts, responses or other customer data to train or fine-tune its models without permission. Prompts are logged for abuse detection, and that logging can be excepted on request. Our calls use Vertex's global endpoint, which carries no data residency guarantee. The security page sets out both.

A suggestion is a draft. It is proposed, never applied on its own, and the person who applies it owns the result. Your admin can switch AI off for the whole organization, and the endpoints then refuse before reaching a model.

Billing and payment

Stationyx takes no payment. There is no card on file, no meter, no in-product invoice and no checkout. Pricing is agreed with us directly and invoiced outside the product, and nothing in the application charges you or blocks your work over money. Owners and our operators can see a read-only readout of the stations a plan would count, and it never gates anything.

If that changes, it changes with notice and a new version of these terms, which you will be asked to accept.

What we do not promise

We publish no uptime commitment, so do not read one into these terms. The service is provided as it is. We keep nightly backups and we will do our best, and neither of those is a guarantee that the service is available or that data is never lost.

Stationyx helps you produce documents. It does not certify them, and it does not make your organization compliant with any standard. Whether a document satisfies your customer or your auditor is your judgement, and the approval in the product is a person in your organization making it.

Changes to these terms

These terms carry a version, the date at the top of this page. When we change them we raise the version. The next time you sign in, the product shows you the new text and asks you to accept it, and it records which version you accepted and when. That record is how both of us can tell later which text you agreed to.
